Christophe Martinez est un photographe français né en France en 1978.
Christophe se forme aux processus et à la culture de l’image à Toulouse, où il obtient une licence en photographie. Il débute dans l’obscurité du laboratoire, au plus près du travail des photographes et des agences de publicité (2000-2009). Durant cette période, il prend pleinement conscience des enjeux de la photographie appliquée, notamment en matière de direction artistique, de stylisme et de production.
Il poursuit ensuite son parcours dans un atelier dédié à la numérisation et à l’impression (2009-2020), un espace d’échanges avec des artistes contemporains et des collections institutionnelles. Ces rencontres seront déterminantes pour l’élaboration d’un cadre critique à sa propre pratique photographique.

Christophe Martinez is a French photographer born in France in 1978.
Christophe trained in the processes and culture of the image in Toulouse, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in photography. It begins in the darkness of the laboratory, as close as possible to the work of photographers and advertising agencies (2000-2009). During this period, he became fully aware of the issues of applied photography, especially in terms of artistic direction, styling and production.
He then continued his career in a workshop dedicated to digitization and printing (2009-2020), a space for exchanges with contemporary artists and institutional collections. These meetings will be decisive for the development of a critical framework for one’s own photographic practice.
